The Bollington Art Group includes artists of all levels of experience. They hold an annual exhibition of their work and the next is their 44th!

44th Annual Art Exhibition

At the Civic Hall on Friday 4th July 2008 at 10am to 6pm; Saturday 5th July at 10am to 6pm; Sunday 6th July at 10am to 4pm. Everyone very welcome!

The most noticeable thing about this year's show is the extraordinarily high standard of the work. There is a huge variety of work by forty artists who have used all the media types to great effect. As is often the case I have succumbed to the attractions of a piece for my own walls - this time a delightful picture of Aberfraw, Anglesey, painted in gouache. There are at least half a dozen others that I would have happily bought!
