Peter Etherington has painted all of his life, alongside successful engineering and business management careers. Since 1992 he has chosen to enjoy and develop his artistic muse and he now paints full time. Examples of his work are already to be found in private homes and collections around the world.
Published prints can usually be obtained through the best local commercial galleries and framers as well as from the Discovery Centre. Other images, including many original paintings, sketches, drawings, etc., are also available direct from the artist.

Normally working from life, photographic or similar references, Peter is prepared to travel and will undertake specialised, corporate and personal commissions for work in pencil, pastel, watercolour, acrylic or oil colour mediums. He is also particularly pleased to create images and designs for reproduction as illustrations, greetings and other cards, gifts, training aids, technical manuals, etc.

Bollington Rooftops
Bollington is a favorite subject. The old part of the town provides so many opportunities for the observant artist, whether with camera or paint brush.
The picture was painted from the railway viaduct looking down on Adlington Road.
