October 21st - 30th 2011
The
Destination Bollington Group has organised a Walking Festival
over a one week and two weekends from October 21st - 30th. The
programme includes a choice of 33 guided walks of different
lengths and difficulty. A social programme is also planned
including a welcoming opening, followed by a reception,
pub walks, a sausage week, folk session and quiz evenings. There
will be opportunities for visitors to the festival to stay at the
various hostelries providing accommodation in the area. (See Businesses,
