We had a fantastic FUNdraising evening at the Viceroy this week [26th June 2008]. If you were there, thank you very much for your support. If you couldn't make it, come to the next one – not only is your support invaluable to making sure the Festival will be as good as it can possibly be but as a ‘new girl’ to Bollington, it is great for me to meet so many new people! By the way, we raised £5,000!!! Watch out for more fund raising events soon, like the Festival Fair ...
Festival meetings
Another public meeting was held on the evening of 7th July. The aim was to bring everyone up to date with the current financial situation, including the Big Top and the proposed programme plan. Two of the active volunteers let everyone know what exciting events they have planned and then the floor was opened for the audience to suggest fundraising events.
We hope you will volunteer to be part of the production of the Festival. It is a community affair and in this case, many hands do make lighter work. Please join in, we’d love to see you! Don't forget - all the latest information is on the Festival web site .
