Parking Scam

Please see the fraudulent parking tickets which have been placed on vehicles across the region.

Vehicles parked outside properties half on and half off the pavement seem to have been the victims of this fraud.

The parking tickets are placed on vehicles at night when it is dark, so there is no confrontation with residents.

You will see from the attachments that there is no indication of a police force or local council on the tickets.

Advice from Trading Standards is  DO NOT PAY THIS TICKET  instead report the incident to Consumer Direct on 0845 404 0506.
