LogoOutbreak of York stone thefts

There has been a spate of thefts involving the removal of areas of York Stone, particularly in the Prestbury and Motram area. This requires a lorry or pickup truck, at least a couple of men and effort requiring time.

If you see anyone acting suspiciously in your area please contact the police immediately on 101. All the better if you can get a vehicle registration number, but you should not make any approach to these people.

Please report cases to the police on 101.

Note: If you are having work done involving stone paving please ensure your neighbours know that you have commissioned it!
