At
their meeting on 1st February 2010, Community Centre,
Ovenhouse Lane, the tenants association welcomed Jane
Thirsk, Cheshire Police Watch Manager. The meeting agreed
the setting up of a new Homewatch area for Crossfield Road and
Kent Avenue.
Homewatch has long been shown to have a beneficial effect in reducing
crime and catching criminals. Homewatch develops a strong community
spirit which is an essential component in a good Homewatch group.
Other streets in the town are encouraged to develop their own
