Several of the performing groups
perform in the Arts Centre which has a page devoted to its programme . All groups are encouraged to have a page just for themselves in the Bollington Arts section of the web site, even if they have their own web site. I will always provide links to your own web site. If you don't have a page yet please make contact with the webmaster. There is no charge for this service. Please check your entry below for accuracy and let me know of any errors or changes you would like.

Societies using the Centre include: Bollington
Chamber Concerts, Bollington Festival Choir, Bollington Festival Players, Bollington
Light Opera Group, Bollington Festival Music
Theatre, New Horizon Group, dancing classes and language classes. The Centre can be hired for meetings,
performances and private parties. Licensed bar available.

Venue: Methodist Church Hall,

Monday and Thursday evenings 8.00pm to 10.00pm.
The Band gives concerts, Civic parades, Drum Head services etc. The aim is to
further Brass Band music in the area and to give help to junior players. Indeed, they have an excellent 'B' band with about 30 improving players.
This wonderful Band came Second in the 2003 UK National Brass Band
Second Section finals in Dundee, losing out by only one point. And exactly the same result at Harrogate in 2006! They have now been promoted to the First Section.
New players, with or without experience, are always welcome. Instruments available for novice players.

This new group (summer 2008) has been established by Nicholas Smith & Glyn Taylor in order to bring a high quality operatic repertoire to Bollington.
