A small town pub of the old style, cosy, a good place to drink beer, and lacking any modern features. Cleaned up and given a coat of paint without spoiling it's traditional feel (4/2009).

Open hours:

Monday - Thursday 12 noon - 12 midnight, Friday and Saturday 12 noon - 1am, Sunday 12 noon - 12 midnight.

Brews:

Youngs bitter, Bass bitter and a guest ale, Boddingtons Draughtflow, Theakstons Dark Mild, Carling, Stella, Guinness and Strongbow.

Food:

None but it's a great place for a pint while you wait for your Chinese or Indian takeaway to be prepared!

Other facilities:

Beer garden, Darts, Juke box, sometimes live music on a Saturday evening.
