The Church House Inn had for many years a very high reputation. Then it was taken over by Enterprise Inns. This led to several years of poor management and decline. After two years of hard work in which they built up the performance to something like it used to be they won Best Community Pub in the North West and Best Community Pub in the UK. |

Finding it: |
The Church House can be found in Church Street. From the canal aqueduct in the middle of Bollington (Palmerston Street) head along the main street in an easterly direction (through the traffic lights past the War Memorial garden). After passing a variety of shops and houses you will arrive at a road junction and bus stop/turn around (almost half a mile). Church Street is on your right and the Church House is 50 metres on the left on the corner of Chapel Street. |
