Introduction:
Delightful pub refurbished in the early 1990's with further improvements (1997). Many small rooms, nooks and crannies provide everyone with a cosy privacy in this, one of Bollington's oldest buildings.

Yes, lunch time and evening. The menu is themed as old English and the menu is presented only on wall boards. The food is very good in both quantity and quality. However, despite the restaurant aspect being a primary feature of the house, one still has to order and pay for each course at the bar.

Excellent and very popular children's playground fenced off from the road and car park.
