Introduction:
A couple of miles out of Bollington up the road to Whaley Bridge, this pub is truly a country pub. Fabulous views from the outdoor tables. A cosy cottage on a cold day. Kristiane & Gareth have improved the rooms prior to opening and enhanced a previously underused room to become a beautifully furnished restaurant with wooden tables and leather chairs.
Brews:
Thwaites cask bitter, Lancaster Bomber and a variety of continental bottled beers.

Finding it:
Two miles out of Bollington, between Rainow and Whaley Bridge on the B5470, from the bus stand at the top end of Bollington go up Ingersley Road, Smithy Brow and Blaze Hill. After 2 miles turn left at T junction; the Highwayman is 100m on the right. Car parks both before and beyond the pub.
