You should by now have received your 'Silver' wheelie bin*. This
should now be your most used bin! Most of your waste should be
recycleable and only the most minimal amount of waste should be
going into your black bin for landfill.
Cheshire East Council will set up their Think Recycling Road
Show on the car park adjacent to Bollington
Town Hall this Thursday 13th October from 10.00am to 2.00pm.
They will provide advice and information, and they will note
residents complaints and concerns about the new system.
If you have queries or problems do come along and get them answered.
For instance, if you are not sure whether particular types of
plastic can be recycled bring an example and ask!
* If you live on a steep street you will not receive a silver
bin. Please continue to recycle in the same bags and boxes that
you have already been using.
