Thank you very much to the more than 250 Followers
who have joined the Happy Valley Bolly Twitter page! This is all
down to the power of technology. Don't forget that you can contribute
to the Happy Valley Bolly Twitter page either by clicking the Tweet
button on any Happy Valley web page or from your own Twitter page
by starting your Tweet @hv_bollington, or Reply to any Tweet.
I'd really like to hear from you!
There is a
Tweet button on the navigation list of every page (below left).
Click to comment on the page, or anything else about Bollington,
the Happy Valley. A cryptic link will be provided to the page you
are on when you click the Tweet button. The Tweet will be sent
to HV_Bollington (that's short for Happy Valley Bollington!), on
Twitter. Follow HV_Bollington
to
find out what's going on in the town!
The webmaster's Tweets will normally carry a link to a page relevant
to the subject of the Tweet. Don't worry that the link address
doesn't look like the Happy Valley web address; Twitter generates
a short cryptic link address beginning http://t.co/~ to fit within
the 140 character limit for message length.
You do not need to register with Twitter to see other people's
Tweets. You do need to be registered to send Tweets. They don't
demand any personal information other than your email address and
you can give yourself a Twitter identity of your choice (subject
to availability). There is no need to provide a picture or a description.
Go on, tell us what you are thinking or doing in the Happy Valley,
Bollington! Have a look at the Tweets in the box (right).
