Revd. R Norton Betts

Vicar with an eye to history

The Reverend Reginald Norton Betts was Vicar of St. John’s Church in the first half of the 1930s. He is notable for the fact that he wrote and published an interesting history of the town, Bollington Through the Centuries in 1934. This has been republished in 2005 and copies are available from the  Discovery Centre . See the books page for details.
